Allied London has launched co-working space OGS Works at its St John’s regeneration project in Manchester.
OGS Works will be based within Old Granada Studios, Manchester, and is the first permanent brand announced for St John’s Enterprise City.
Launching the space last week, Allied London chief executive Mike Ingall said it was the “bedrock for a massive expansion of enterprise space”, at St. John’s.
OGS Works will sit alongside Hello Work, a social enterprise start-up accelerator funded by Allied London.
The developer said Hello Work will provide business and marketing support to people with a “genuine vison and hunger” to create or develop their business idea and make their mark on the business world.
Enterprise City at St John’s will open in March 2017 with the first phase centred on the Bonded Warehouse, an 80,000 sq ft former warehouse, with an initial activation cost of £5m.
Rents in OGS Works start from £100 per month for a hot desk, £200 for a fixed desk, £500 for a 2-3 person private office, and £750 for a 3-4 person private office.
