Allsop’s letting and management arm has appointed a new chief executive.
Matt Smith joined the company in 2018 as director of asset management. In his new role, he will be responsible for the subsidiary’s performance and new business generation activity, as well as driving cross-business collaboration.
Before joining Allsop, Smith (pictured) held senior positions in LIV Group and Touchstone CPS.
The business has also promoted Kelly Smith from director of operations to chief operating officer. She will also sit on Allsop’s risk committee.
Smith joined Allsop in 2017, before which she held senior positions in Pinnacle Places and Young London.
In other senior appointments, former finance director Richard Leek has been promoted to its chief financial officer. He joined in 2002 as a business analyst.
Allsop has also appointed Tim Theakston as ALM’s new board chair. Theakston has been with the company for 41 years. He is also a director at British Pearl.
ALM’s head of residential transactional and living markets team Andrew Boyd has been nominated as a non-executive director of the subsidiary.
Boyd joined Allsop in 2016 after holding senior positions in Savills for over eight years.
