A freehold office building in Maidenhead, Berkshire, with planning permission for 30 flats will go under the hammer in Allsop’s June residential auction with a guide of £3m-plus (lot 203, pictured).
The 17,000 sq ft block is among 347 lots listed for the two-day live-streamed sale on 19 and 20 June, of which 16 are guided at more than £1m.
Other highlights include:
- Lot 177: Harrow, Greater London – a freehold detached HMO arranged as 12 self-contained studio flats and one non-self-contained studio flat, guided at £1.6m-plus.
- Lot 188: Peacehaven, East Sussex – a freehold site comprising 10 self-contained two-bedroom flats, guided at £1.3m-plus.
- Lot 194: West Hampstead, London – a freehold mid-terrace building providing six self-contained flats, guided at £1.45m-plus.
The release of the bumper 347-lot catalogue follows a busy May residential auction, at which Allsop raised more than £47m from 155 lots sold, representing a success rate of 86%. It will be Allsop’s sixth residential auction of the year as the firm continues to add dates to its auction calendar amid pent-up supply and demand.
Richard Adamson, managing partner and residential auctioneer at Allsop, said more investors were expected to return to the market over the summer months. “The market continues to be energised by income-producing assets and value-add opportunities that are sensibly priced,” he said.
