Sir John Beckwith and Phillip Rose’s Alpha Real Capital is launching a £400m UK real estate fund to take advantage of investment opportunities in the UK market following the downturn.
The property funds management group says the Alpha Rockmount UK Real Estate Fund will bring together a 10-man fund team from Alpha and its major partner Rockmount.
Alpha Real Capital will be a substantial co-investor in the new fund.
The fund has appointed an investment advisory board of property industry experts including former managing director of Slough Estates and former Industrious chairman, Roger Carey, CBRE Capital markets chairman, Greg Nicholson, and former Great Portland Estates chairman Richard Peskin.
Fund chairman and Alpha chief executive Phillip Rose said: “The Alpha Rockmount UK Real Estate Fund will target quality property assets in all sectors with potential for enhanced returns from active management.
“The Fund benefits from a strong, hands-on management team with extensive industry connections and an Investment Advisory Board with enormous experience across the retail, office and industrial property sectors.”
