Amazon is to offer a same-day grocery delivery service to its Prime members, in a move that is set to put further pressure on the UK’s supermarket chains.
The service will initially only be available in 69 London postcode areas. It will include some 130,000 fresh and frozen products.
Amazon Fresh has been operating in the US for several years.
