Amazon is planning to open 20 Amazon Fresh stores a year from 2022.
Deals are already in place for around 25 sites, mostly in London and its suburbs.
The online titan’s first physical store in the UK opened last week, in Ealing, allowing customers to walk in, pick up items and “just walk out”.
