St Modwen, along with jv partner Devon county council, has submitted plans for a new ambulance special operations centre at its £210m Skypark scheme close to Exeter airport.
The proposals lodged with East Devon district council will involve developing a 24,165 sq ft purpose-built facility within the first phase of the 1.4m sq ft business park.
The facility is being developed on behalf of the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust.
St Modwen senior development manager Ian Guy said: “Our proposals for this state-of-the-art facility is another major step forward for Skypark’s first phase of development and follows closely on the successful completion of the innovative Energy Centre, the first facility of its kind in the region last September.”
