China’s AMC Entertainment is to pay Bridgepoint $929m for the acquisition of Nordic Cinema Group.
Nordic operates 68 cinemas in northern Europe, and has interests in another 50.
Over the past year, AMC has paid £921m to acquire the UK’s Odeon chain and $1.2bn for Carmike Cinemas in the US.
