Richard Elliott, director of AMEC Developments responsible for retail development and head of its Birmingham office, died suddenly last month following a heart attack.
Elliott, 50, leaves wife Julia and four children.
In 1989 Elliott joined AMEC as director with responsibility for retail development throughout the UK and Europe.
He left AMEC in 1993 to set up his own property consultancy, Solsbury Developments, but retained his relationship with AMEC, which became one of his principal clients.
In 2000 he rejoined AMEC as board director and head of the Birmingham office.
His funeral took place in Bath on 4 May.
