Amey is beginning work on accommodation for a new specialist mental hospital in northern Birmingham in a PFI deal worth £155m.
Amey will build and modernise facilities on two sites with construction expected to finish next autumn.
It also has the contract to deliver facilities management services to the hospital for the Northern Birmingham Mental Health Trust.
