AMP pays £5.25m for retail park in Evesham, Worcestershire

AMP Asset Management has bought the long leasehold interest in the Four Pools Retail Park in Evesham, Worcestershire, for £5.265m.

The deal reflects a net initial yield of 8.08%. The 6,387 sq m (68,752 sq ft) park, which opened in 1989, is fully let to Halfords, Great Mills, Crisco Carpets and Forte. The current rental income is £436,875 pa and there are fixed rental uplifts in 1999 and 2000.

Jones Lang Wootton advised Universities Superannuation Scheme and King Sturge represented AMP.
