Amro Real Estate Partners has hired Elisabetta Li Destri Nicosia as director of sustainability and ESG.
Destri Nicosia joins after nearly a decade at housing design specialist HTA Design.
She joined HTA in 2013 as a sustainability consultant and has held a number of roles at the firm, latterly as a senior associate in sustainability futures.
At Amro, Destri Nicosia will help the company to achieve its goals of being net zero by 2030.
She will work with co-founders Ami and Raj Kotecha to drive the business’s “ambitious NZC2025 vision, develop its tech stack and embed sustainability at asset, portfolio and corporate level across the UK and Europe”.
She added: “Amro is in a great position to lead from the front on ESG and 2025 is just around the corner, so there’s no time to be wasted.”
