Labour’s Joe Anderson has been re-elected as mayor of Liverpool.
Anderson, who became the city’s first directly-elected mayor in 2012, retained his position with 52.6% of the vote.
He was comfortably ahead of the other candidates, with the Liberal Democrat’s Richard Kemp coming in second with 21.1% of the vote.
The Green Party’s Tom Crone was third with 10.9% of the vote, while the Conservative’s Tony Caldeira received just 3.6% of the vote.
