Angels to open Bluewater pop-up store

 


Angels, the UK’s largest and longest-established costumiers, is to open a pop-up store at Bluewater.


 


Located on the Upper Mall, in Bluewater’s Guildhall, the 2,400 sq ft store will open in early September and sell over 700 costumes and a range of wigs, masks and make-up.


 


Andrew Parkinson, Bluewater’s general manager, said: “The Angels pop-up store is a great addition to Bluewater and provides something unique for our guests.  


 


“It is also highlight’s Bluewater’s appeal as a destination for innovative retail concepts and store formats, and follows last year’s award-winning Dyson pop-up.”


 


Emma Angel, director of Angels fancy dress, added: “Halloween grows in popularity with every year, and it made perfect sense for us to bring the Angels costume magic to Bluewater.”


 


Other recent lettings at Bluewater include a 1,300 sq ft shop to Little White Company and a 1,000 sq ft store to Hawes & Curtis as part of a change in mix in the area led by Kurt Geiger.



Children’s clothing retailer Pumpkin Patch has also agreed to let a 2,600 sq ft shop close to Monsoon, Bench and Nine West.
