Jayne McGivern has joined international entertainment giant Anschutz Entertainment Group to oversee its plans to redevelop the Millennium Dome.
McGivern, formerly group development director at MWB, will be charged with transforming the Greenwich Peninsula attraction into a 20,000-seat sports and entertainment complex, the centrepiece for Meridian Deltas regeneration of the peninsula.
AEG wants the Dome to be a venue of the same stature as its Staples Centre in Los Angeles, which has hosted Britney Spears, Madonna, the Grammy awards and various sporting events.
