Anstey Horne joins forces with Gray Scanlan Hill

Anstey Horne has expanded its Manchester presence through the acquisition of Gray Scanlan Hill’s team of chartered building surveyors.

The team is led by Simon Hill, who has been with Gray Scanlan Hill since 2005, alongside Darren Hughes, who joined the practice in 2017 from Lambert Smith Hampton. Hill and Hughes are joining Anstey Horne as directors, with their team of seven surveyors and staff.

Following the expansion, Anstey Horne will have a total of 12 staff operating across the Manchester region.

The combined team will continue to provide dilapidations, project management, technical due diligence and specialist technical advice.

Alex Parry-Jones, head of building consultancy at Anstey Horne, said: “We are diversifying and growing our specialist teams across the UK to meet client demand and meet their expectations of the high level of service we seek to provide.

“Alongside our general building consultancy services, we now offer a full range of fire consultancy advice to support our clients’ assets, from pre-planning fire strategies to specialist FRAEW surveys of existing stock.”

In addition to Manchester, Anstey Horne has five other UK offices – in London, Birmingham, Bristol, Plymouth and Norwich – employing a total of 87 staff.
