Anthology wins planning in Deptford

Arklow-Road,-DeptfordAnthology has been granted planning permission by Lewisham Council for the redevelopment of a disused trading estate on the Arklow Road, SE14.

Plans were submitted for 316 homes at the 2.9-acre Deptford Foundry site, alongside 32,000 sq ft of creative employment space.

Designed by Rolfe Judd Architecture, plans include a mix of social rented homes and open-market homes along with commercial premises offering creative studios that will be ideal for local artists. The development will also include two new play spaces and green features to promote biodiversity.

Richard Lustigman, residential director at JLL, said: “Deptford is undergoing a rapid and significant transformation as the benefits of the location for owner occupiers and investors become increasingly apparent.”
