Anti-ageing firm takes space at Granta Park

An anti-ageing start-up backed by Jeff Bezos is opening a lab in Cambridge.

Altos, which seeks to discover the key to prolonging human life, has signed a 10-year lease to take 51,000 sq ft in the Portway building at Granta Park, south of Cambridge on the A11.

Granta was bought by Biomed, a division of Blackstone, the private equity firm, for £127m in 2012.

Biomed, which owns about 1m sq ft of lab and office space in and around Cambridge, has been renovating the Portway building.
