Apollo’s Lapithus signs for Lazari’s MET Building

Lapithus Management, an asset manager owned by Apollo, has struck a deal to take space in Lazari Investments’ MET Building in the West End.

Lapithus has signed to take the 5,000 sq ft sixth floor at 22 Percy Street, W1. Rents on the tower floors of the building are above £100 per sq ft.

The company will occupy the space on a 10-year lease with a five-year break option. The deal will see the company relocate from Berkeley Square House, W1.

Lazari bought the MET Building from GPE for £107m back in 2007. It is currently undertaking a refurbishment across the podium and tower floors, due to complete in the first quarter of next year, creating 70,000 sq ft of space including 5,000 sq ft of new terracing.
