Approval for latest phases of £800m Acton Gardens regen

Countryside and L&Q have received planning consent for 336 flats in the latest phases of the £800m Acton Gardens regeneration in west London.

Members at Ealing Council’s committee voted unanimously to approve the reserved matters application for the phases 8.1 and 8.2.

The development comprises 12 blocks and six houses, with a mix of one to four-bedroom flats, houses and maisonettes, designed by architects Stitch.

It will provide 128 affordable homes, equating to 43.5% affordable housing by habitable room, public realm and new roads.

Acton Gardens is a redevelopment of 52 acres at the former South Acton estate. The masterplan will see 3,463 new homes, of which 50% will be affordable.
