Aprirose is to fund the construction of the £55m second phase of the Bank development in Birmingham, being delivered by Regal Property Group.
The 31-storey residential tower is set to be the largest residential building in Birmingham and will consist of 205 flats alongside ground floor commercial space.
Aprirose had already agreed to fund the first phase of the development of 189 flats.
Glancy Nicholls were the architects and it received planning permission in March 2017. Regal will act as developer and Wates Group as the contractor. Practical completion is expected to be Q4 2019.
Manish Gudka, chief executive officer at Aprirose, said: “Having embarked on our first foray into building and funding a large-scale residential scheme in Birmingham in 2016, we saw the opportunity to develop a second building of high-quality apartments as the perfect complement to our existing build.”
