Apsleys protest against cattle market office demolition

Lord and Lady Apsley have threatened to chain themselves to a cattle market office in Cirencester to try to stop council contractors knocking it down to make way for a leisure centre.

The Apsley’s had tried to persuade the council to rebuild the 150-year-old building elsewhere but it rejected the proposition.

The building is due to be demolished within the next few days.
