Brookfield-backed life sciences real estate platform ARC has appointed Jenny Gardner as development and construction director to help deliver its pipeline of flexible laboratory and office space.
Gardner (pictured) joins ARC from JLL, where she directed project development services for the life sciences team. Prior to this, she spent time at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield in San Diego, as a retail delivery director, and seven years at life sciences REIT Alexandria Real Estate Equities, where she supported the delivery of over 1m sq ft of life sciences-focused assets.
In her new role, Gardner will be responsible for a range of developments, including those at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, where 3m sq ft of new laboratories and research and development space is planned.
ARC chief executive Stuart Grant said Gardner’s appointment would “allow us to move at pace with our ambitious growth plans”.
