Philip Green’s Arcadia is taking legal action over a newspaper report alleging that sales were falling at the retail group.
Arcadia is suing Independent News & Media and SG Securities over a report in the Independent on Sunday based on analysts’ research from the bank.
It is also suing Independent Digital, the publisher’s online business, Jason Nisse, who wrote the story, and John Baillie, the analyst, whose research was quoted.
