Arcadian International, the hotel and property development company, is approaching rival hoteliers to sell off its country hotels.
Arcadian’s portfolio of 12 country house hotels in the UK plus a number of golf “chateaux” in France, Spain and Italy could fetch &163;60m.
The sale would raise money to fund development projects like the renovation at the Great Eastern Hotel next to Liverpool Street station in London.
