Architrave enters the UK with SEGRO

European asset management platform Architrave is entering the UK market following a deal with SEGRO to expand across its UK and European portfolio.

The UK launch follows successful growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, where Architrave’s AI-powered documentation automation system is now used by a number of European real estate heavyweights, including Deka and BNP Paribas.

Founded in 2013 by chief executive Maurice Grassau, Architrave’s platform combines its document management system, transactional data rooms and a consulting service to create a tool for asset managers to quickly and easily locate documentation.

Grassau said: “Whether you are a £3bn asset management platform or a £300m platform, everyone’s documents are almost always chaotic. They can be spread across USBs, e-mails, filing cabinets – basically all over the place. Then when something comes up and you need them, it’s Operation Hectic to bring them all together in one place.

“What we offer creates a system where your documents are standardised and automatically updated so that you have what you need, all the time, wherever you are.”

Will Siddall, head of data and analytics at SEGRO, said: “Launching in the UK with Architrave was the logical step, following our work with them to fully digitise our German asset documents by the end of the year.

“We have plans to roll out the solution across the rest of our portfolio, bringing standardisation to our document management.”
