Argon Capital has appointed CBRE and Kalmars to find a development partner to bring forward a 338-home scheme at Manor Works in the Old Kent Road area of south-east London.
The investor received planning consent in June to deliver three towers of up to 22 storeys, with 54,072 sq ft of office space, on Verney Road, SE16.
The Manor Works development includes more than 35% affordable housing provision based on habitable space.
Adam Cradick, senior director, CBRE UK Development, said: “This is an opportunity for a partner to work with the site’s owner to deliver one of the first developments to come forward in south London’s newest destination, capturing the new wave of growth.
“There is momentum to bring forward the delivery of this project at the earliest opportunity. We are already discussing the proposals with interested parties, and we anticipate considerable further interest.”
The surrounding area is predominately residential and industrial, with a number of high-density residential schemes recently approved in the area, including 1,300 homes at Cantium Retail Park, 541 homes at DTZi’s Southernwood Retail Park and Avanton’s 1,152-home Ruby Triangle.
