Arlington in funds

Arlington Securities has raised £85m in two facilities.

The first, £35m, is being provided by a syndicate of banks led by Hill Samuel and will be used to buy investment properties. The funds syndicate is made up of Midland Bank, Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scottland, Banque Nationale de Paris, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Bank of Yokohama, the Royal Bank of Canada and Yorkshire Bank.

The remaining £50m comes via a sterling commercial paper programme. Samuel Montagu is the issuing and paying agent, Hill Samuel and Morgan Grenfell the dealers.
