Arlington secures first tenant at Birmingham Business Park new phase

Arlington has secured the first tenant at its Bishop Court development, the latest phase of the developers’ Birmingham Business Park close to the M42.

IT company Compel has signed up for the 3,300 sq m (9,735 sq ft) Building 6290, the first of nine planned at the latest phase of the park, which will total 6,131 sq m (66,000 sq ft). Arlington developed the building speculatively and completed it last month.

Compel is paying a rent of £205 per sq m (£19 per sq ft) on a 16-year lease with 5-yearly rent reviews.

GVA Grimley and Strutt & Parker acted for Arlington, while DTZ Debenham Thrope represented Compel.
