Arlington Securities opens Paris office

Arlington Securities has formed a Paris office to handle property investment in France as part of its European expansion strategy.

It has recruited four fund managers from rival IXIS AEW: Pierre-David Baylac, who will head the office, Jean-Christophe Viguié, Stéphane Aubin and Nazih Chentouf.

Patrick Deigman, Arlington’s chief executive, said: “We are looking at similar appointments in Spain, Italy and Germany, with plans to substantially increase funds under management across Europe, which are close to €600m (£415m).”

In the Amsterdam office, Bob Reidsma has been promoted to managing director. Hermen Molendijk, from asset manager Robeco, has been appointed head of European investment.
