Transport group Arriva is to become the first major occupier of Blackstone’s Lacon London, WC1.
The pan-European public transport operator will operate its London headquarters at the 215,000 sq ft refurbishment project at 84 Theobalds Road.
Arriva has signed to take 26,000 sq ft at the building, paying £67.50 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.
It comes after a refurbishment of the building, led by architecture firm Sheppard Robson and interior designers MoreySmith.
Blackstone bought the property from Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management in 2013 for £90m.
Savills and JLL are joint letting agents on the scheme.
