Arrow Capital Partners has recruited IO Asset Management investment partner Oliver Bowditch as an investment manager for its Europe business.
Bowditch will be responsible for sourcing, underwriting and executing transactions, in addition to investment management, across the UK and Europe on behalf of Arrow’s existing mandates. This includes its €2bn (£1.7bn) SIRE urban logistics vehicle, which launched in July.
He had previously joined IO Asset Management in 2014, where he led the investment team and was responsible for the origination and execution of acquisitions.
Before that, he worked at JLL in its investment valuation division, advising banks, institutions and property companies in the office and industrial sectors.
Katherine Parker, head of investment management in Europe at Arrow Capital Partners, said Bowditch joins as the firm seeks to “accelerate the pace of investments in our €2bn SIRE urban logistics vehicle in Europe and to expand our office investment strategy”.
She said: “We are focused on four key investment themes in 2020 being urban logistics, core logistics, office repositioning and office assets with good cash flow in defensive locations.”
Backed by AMB Capital, one of Australia’s largest family offices, Arrow Capital Partners was set up in 2015 by Martyn McCarthy, and Kurt Wilkinson. Its expansion in Europe is led by Christian Bearman, a partner and its head of Europe.
