Arrowcroft wins consent for redevelopment of Lower Precinct, Coventry

Coventry council has granted Arrowcroft planning consent for the 16,722 sq m (180,000 sq ft) redevelopment of the city’s Lower Precinct shopping centre. Arrowcroft was selected as developer for the scheme in 1994. Work on site will begin once a compulsory purchase inquiry has been completed.

The project involves the refurbishment of existing shops to provide 35 units and the addition of 4,273 sq m (46,000 sq ft) of new retail space, which will include the provision of two large stores. A new 700-space car park will be built off Corporation Street.

Donaldsons is advising Arrowcroft.
