Arthur Andersen is searching for new offices in Leeds and is thought to be eyeing Norwich Union’s One City Square.
The accountant has appointed Weatherall Green & Smith to look for about 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft). At the moment the company occupies St Paul’s House in Park Square and two smaller offices in the city.
Phase one of the10,404 sq m (112,000 sq ft) Norwich Union development will be available for fitting out in mid May. The quoting rent is £204.52 per sq m (£19 per sq ft).
Neither Knight Frank, which is advising Norwich Union, nor Weatherall Green & Smith, representing Arthur Andersen, would comment.
