Artisan Real Estate has been granted planning permission for a major residential scheme at Kirkstall Place in Leeds.
It will develop 263 homes, comprising 80 family townhouses and 183 flats of up to four-bedrooms on the former site of the Kirkstall District Centre to the north-west of the city.
The low-rise scheme, in blocks of just three storeys, has been amended to boost the number of townhouses from 36 to 80 and reduce the flats from 266 to 183, following feedback from Leeds City Council.
Kirkstall Place will also provide 13.6% affordable housing. It was designed by Axis Architecture Fore consulting and Oobe Landscapre Architects.
Clive Wilding, property director at Artisan Real Estate, said: “We hope the development will be a catalyst for the ongoing regeneration of Kirkstall by connecting the surrounding communities.”
Artisan was advised by CBRE’s planning team.
