Bidwells and Dedman Property Services have negotiated a record letting for Southend-on-Sea high street, Essex, with the signing of a 13,429 sq ft unit to Walmart-owned supermarket giant Asda for its fashion store George.
The retail unit is part of the University of Essex‘s new high street development at Southend-on-Sea. It covers two floors and has been let on a 15-year lease at an initial rental of £310,000 per annum equating to £124.50 psf Zone A.
Marketing has commenced on the remaining two units with the development which are 4,715 sq ft and 1,257 sq ft respectively.
