ASDA has appointed Jo Moon property acquisition director leading stores acquisitions for the supermarket giant.
Moon was previously head of estates with ASDA, and joined the Wal-Mart subsidiary from Tesco in March 2006, where she was senior development surveyor.
ASDA has 265 stores and 19 depots, and set up its new estates team in July to focus on development opportunities for the surplus land around its stores.

Moon’s first major project for the estates team is a 100,000 sq ft headquarters for Barclays bank on ASDA’s land in
