Asda to add 580,000 sq ft

Asda plans to add more than 580,000 sq ft of new supermarket space this year. The new space will include nine new stores. The Wal-Mart-owned group will trial a “virtual store” in Morley, Yorkshire, this summer, on a site next to an existing outlet. The group could open others if successful.
