Asda to open four London stores

Asda is set to invest more than £80m with plans to open four new stores in the next 12 months.

It is close to winning planning permission on sites in Wembley, Wealdstone, Leyton Goods Yard and plans to rebuild its existing store in Park Royal.

All four stores will comprise between 3,716 sq m (40,000 sq ft) and 6,503 sq m (70,000 sq ft).

Asda has just ten stores inside the M25 and regards the area as one of potential growth.
