Luxury online fashion retailer Flannels is opening its first physical London shop at a new flagship block at 161-167 Oxford Street and 36 Poland Street, W1.
Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct, which owns Flannels, bought the freehold of the 35,000 sq ft property for £108m and will add 5,600 sq ft to the block.
Flannels will occupy 20,000 sq ft, while Sports Direct will move its London HQ from New Cavendish Street, W1, into the offices on the upper floors.
CBRE acted for vendor Aviva; Sports Direct was unrepresented.
