Ashquay unveils plans for £20m scheme near Lucky Goldstar plant, south Wales

Ashquay Developments has teamed up with Whitbread Developments and a local landowner for a £20m scheme on 6.87ha (17 acres) at Magor, south Wales.

The site, which adjoins the existing Whitbread Brewery, is close to the Second Severn Crossing and the proposed Lucky Goldstar scheme in Newport.

The scheme, which already has outline consent for B1 and B2 use, is part of a larger 19.42ha (48 acre) development site. Infrastructure work will start shortly, although Ashquay’s Chief Executive Harry Sproule said he would not be building speculatively.

DTZ Debenham Thorpe, who advised Whitbread Developments, has been retained as letting agent together with Hartnell Taylor Cook.
