The first images of cb1, Ashwell’s £820m project in Cambridge, have been unveiled.
The local developer plans 860,000 sq ft of offices, shops and leisure, including a four-star-plus hotel, on one of the largest privately held mixed-use schemes in the country.
Around 1,400 homes are also earmarked for the 21-acre site near the railway station.
Density of development and the scheme’s two towers have caused controversy.
The council is preparing a recommendation for a special committee meeting in early April.
