Ask Real Estate’s plan for a 260,000 sq ft office to be built at First Street has been given the nod by Manchester City Council.
The 11-storey office building, which will be developed by the developer in a joint venture with the Richardson family, will also consist of circa 11,000 sq ft of retail, commercial and leisure space.
It marks First Street’s third office building following strong occupier demand. Most recently, EG revealed Disney streaming firm Cake Solutions had put 1 Tony Wilson Place on its office space shortlist for 8,000-12,000sq ft.
Once completed, the wider First Street masterplan will see circa 2.5m sq ft of commercial space, 1m sq ft of residential space, and 324,000sq ft of retail, leisure and hotel space built.
