Administrators selling the Ramada Birmingham Solihull hotel have halved the asking price to £7.5m.
The 145-bedroom hotel in the centre of Solihull was brought to the market earlier this year for £14m.
The property, which has four phases of development, including a Grade II-listed building fronting the high street, has 15 meeting and conference rooms arranged on three sides of a bowling green.
First round offers are being sought by 7 September.
Gavin Wright, director at Christie + Co, which is acting for the administrators, said: “The Ramada Birmingham Solihull hotel benefits from an excellent mix of overnight and weekend guests, and daily commercial, leisure and corporate business. We anticipate a great deal of interest in it, particularly at the new guide price.”
