Aspers wins consent for MK casino

Aspers has won a license from MK council to operate a casino in Milton Keynes.

The 34,000 sq ft casino will be on the ground floor of Xscape Milton Keynes (pictured), which is owned by X-Leisure, in the heart of the city’s leisure quarter.

Xscape also includes an indoor snow slope, rock climbing, indoor skydiving, bowling, 16-screen Cineworld cinema, bars, shops, restaurants and cafes.

PY Gerbeau, chief executive of X-Leisure, said: “Since arriving in MK in 2000, our focus has always been to deliver a first-class entertainment experience. Working with Aspers, which is a well-respected market leader in the casino industry with an established and proven track record, we’re very much looking forward to welcoming the new casino as part of the Xscape experience.”
