Healthcare REIT Assura has appointed Jayne Cottam as chief financial officer, replacing Jonathan Murphy.
Murphy was appointed chief executive of Assura earlier this year but has continued to carry out his previous role as chief financial officer.
Cottam will join the company from private housing developer Morris Homes, where she is finance director for operations. She was previously director of finance for European Metal Recycling’s continental Europe division.
Cottam is expected to join Assura before the end of October.
Murphy said: “Jayne brings a wealth of relevant experience and her financial expertise will prove extremely valuable as we continue to deliver shareholder value and pursue our strategy of investing to support the UK’s primary healthcare infrastructure.”
