Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has announced plans to extend its high-tech manufacturing base in Gaydon, Warwickshire in a move expected to create 250 jobs.
The proposed extension includes plans to create new offices, more logistics storage and a new chassis and pilot build facility.
The 100,000 sq ft extension, which is due to complete next year, will be one of the most significant developments at the group’s global headquarters for years, the company said.
It forms part of a £500m investment in the company’s plans to develop the next generation of sports cars.
