Aston Villa Football Club today announced plans to open a shopping complex and industrial estate close to its Villa Park ground.
The Premier League club, which finished seventh in the division last seasons, said the move would bring jobs and facilities to the area.

He added that the club would soon be applying for permission to develop the 18 acres.
The company also announced results for the year ended May 31 with pretax profits jumping from a loss of £4 million to a profit of £12 million. This was achieved on a jump in turnover from £22m to £32 million. The company announced a maiden total dividend of 8.8p.
