Asylum centre hits property values

Plans to build an asylum centre at Bicester in Oxfordshire have blighted property sales in the surrounding area.

The Daily Telegraph reports that residents have been unable to sell their property after “seeing sales fall through and potential buyers disappear”.

Bicester is one of the country’s fastest growing towns. But the newspaper says that home owners in Arncott and Piddington face an “uncertain future”.
