A graduate trainee at Atisreal’s Birmingham office was fatally stabbed in the city centre on Friday.
Paul Tanner, 23, from Hockley, was walking through St Paul’s Square with a friend in the early hours of Friday when they were attacked by three youths.
He was stabbed through the chest and died in hospital on Friday. His friend, also in his 20s, was not hurt in the attempted robbery.
A murder investigation has been launched.
Paul Tanner had worked in Atisreal’s Birmingham office for the past 11 months as a graduate trainee in its agency team.
Simon Russell, the director who heads the office, said: “Paul was an extremely popular and able young man, who made a big mark on the office in a very natural and unassuming manner.
“Everyone in the office is currently dumbstruck by this dreadful news and our thoughts are very much with his family and friends.”
